Therapeutic Mesh Rug for Optimal Horse Comfort & Recovery

This is the ultimate, multi-use Mesh Rug for all seasons.

Use it when travelling, or to prepare and warm up before riding, or as a cooler afterwards. The airy material helps to keep the horse cool and protects from flies and other biting insects during the summer. Also, ideal as a warming layer underneath other rugs in colder temperatures, especially during late Autumn/Winter/early Spring periods.Incorporating the unique Welltex™ FAR Infrared technology lining. The specialised material helps stimulate blood circulation,which, in turn, can contribute to flexible and agile muscles and joints (as well as being hugely beneficial in the treatment of Kissing Spine Syndrome), making this Blanket a superb choice before and after training or competition.

 The Rug is well-designed with an anatomical fit over the back, withers and shoulders (but without shoulder pleats or tail flap). Tightly wovenfabric at the chest area reduces the risk of rubbing and fur getting stuck. A soft fleece lining at the withers provides extra comfortand avoids chafing on the mane. The Rug has double buckles in the front chest closure and cross surcingles with easy closure, D-Rings for the Fillet String and flat buckles are placed on the inside of the neck opening to attach the separate Neck Cover.The material is breathable and has wicking properties.

 A Neck Cover attachment can be purchased separately for those colder temperatures and for horses with stiffness in the neck area

General size guidelines: Back on Track® Equine Blankets are, generally, “true to size” and are categorised in the EU metric sizes (which is determined by measuring the length of your horse’s back from the withers to the base of the tail). Although it is not a direct mathematical conversion, for example, 105cm would be itemised as the approx. equivalent 5’ 0” (UK ‘skirt’ width - chest to rump), 115cm (5’6” – 5’9”), 125cm (5' 9" - 6' 0"), 135cm 6' 0" - 6' 3"), 140cm (6' 3" - 6'6"), 145cm, (6'6" - 6' 9") 155cm (6' 9" - 7' 0") and 165cm (7' 0" - 7' 3")
